Software and Downloads.
Software - Free Software and Purchased Software. Free software and software we need
to purchase are totally two different things. There are many people that believe
that all software on the internet is free. This is not the case. Free software is
software provided by the developer and/or company and/or website that is free to
use and download as long as you agree to the terms and conditions of the license
agreement provided by the developer and/or company. There is absolutely no charge
for the use of this software. An example of free software is OpenOffice. Purchased
Software is software that needs to be purchased by you, from the developer and/or
company and/or website and you need to accept the terms and conditions of the license
agreement that is provided with the software. This software can only be purchased
from the official website of the company, affiliates and resellers. An example of
purchased software is Microsoft Office.
Prior to buying Software.
Unless you know exactly what software you want to purchase
and this you will only know as you already have experience with using the software,
never purchase any software without using and testing the functionality of the software
first. Ask the company for a trial version (most software companies will have this
on their website). Test the software first, make sure it does what it says it does
and meets all your requirements. Remember: Prior to installing any software, make
sure you are using a good and up todate Anti Virus software product.
