C++ Mdi (Multiple Document Interface) Control.
Mdi - C++ Multiple Document Interface applications allow you to have multiple documents open within the same application. This is a very popular application interface and can be seen in many modern day applications like, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer 7.0, Microsoft Word and VisualStudio.
Namespace: System::Windows::Forms
System.Windows.Forms (in system.windows.forms.dll)
To create a Mdi form in C++ you simply need to set the main form as a Mdi Parent.
this->IsMdiContainer = true;
We create another form in Visual Studio and call it Form2. Now declare the new Form2 in the Main Form.
Form2^ form2 = gcnew Form2();
We set Form2's MdiParent.
form2->MdiParent = this;
Now to display Form2, simple call.
form2->Show();
NOTE: FOR C++ YOU NEED TO INCLUDE AT THE TOP OF THE MAIN FORM THE FOLLOWING.
#include "Form2.h"
